Carol Blue teaches violin and viola at her home studio in the Northwest part of Houston. She teaches students from age three through adult using the Suzuki philosophy. Carol has completed teacher training in Suzuki books 1-9; studying with Mark Bjork, Barbara Barber, Marilyn O'Boyle, Jacqueline Mauer, Susan Kempter, Nancy Lokken, and others. She has a B. S. in music education from Northern State University in South Dakota and post-graduate study at the University of Nebraska. Carol taught orchestra in the Millard School District in Omaha Nebraska. She currently teaches elementary Suzuki orchestra at Northland Christian School as well as teaching in her private studio. Carol is the assistant concert master in Symphony North of Houston and plays in the Brava Quartet.
