Asmara Bhattacharya teaches students of all ages and levels in her home studio. Her teaching style incorporates Suzuki philosophies, traditional methods, and improvisational training and is tailored to fit each student's personality. Asmara received her degree from The University of Texas at Austin and has studied with William Pu, Eugene Gratovich, and Beatrice Stanley. She is the Assistant Principal Second Violin of the Corpus Christi Symphony, a violinist with Glissando Strings, a long-time member of the Lake Charles Symphony, and a founder of Music Inside Out, an improvisational music ensemble.

Her studio is in the West University/Rice area.
